Teenagers are usually more vulnerable to pimples outbreak. However, there are also adults who suffer from pimples. Pimples can appear at any point in our life and they do not only appear at our facial area. It can also appear at other areas like the back, neck and chin area. If you have pimples on chin area, I have some tips, which you can use to get rid of it.
Fortunately, pimples can be easily treated as there are thousands of acne medications available. Don't touch your face. Keep your hands away from your face as much as possible and avoid picking, squeezing and popping your pimples. If you squeeze a pimple, your hands will be infected with the bacteria and when you touch your hands on other parts of your face, you will be just spreading it around and cause another outbreak! Popping your pimples increase the possibility of having acne scars too.
The first thing that you should bear in mind is to STOP touching your pimples with your hands whether you have washed your hands or not. Your hands have a lot of bacteria which could be spread if you keep touching your pimples and make matters worse for you. Another outbreak will be another problem you would have to deal with! Touching your pimples and squeezing them could also add bruising and scarring on your skin!
Generally the changes will 'stabilize' at adulthood as hormone levels in the body settle down to a more regular situation and the alterations at a hormonal level to not translate into the skin care issues that result in acne conditions and so forth.
That is why acne flare-ups are common among teenagers with raging hormones. In women acne is also caused by a sudden spike in testosterone levels right before a period and during pregnancy. Fatty foods have also been pointed out to make the oil glands work overtime.
For severe cases of acne, prescribed medications or antibiotics are usually more effective.
